What sets the 300M steel apart is its composition. This aircraft-grade alloy is a modified, reinforced version of the already robust 4340 chromoly, enhanced with the addition of Vanadium and a higher silicon content. Vanadium, a common element in high-speed tool steel (HSS), plays a crucial role in elevating the steel's strength to unparalleled levels.
