The Rust Buster RB7344 is designed to cure a common rust area on 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra Ext Cab and Crew Cabs, AKA the infamous GMT900 Chassis for you GM aficionados.
Measuring at 27 inch, this frame section starts approx. 2 inch behind the front cab mount and ends about 5 inch shy of the rear cab mount, encapsulating the Transmission Crossmember.
It caps over the existing frame from the bottom allowing you to weld this on without removing the cab of your truck. Your original frame is 8 inch tall, so the RB7344 frame section will leave about 1/2 inch of your existing frame exposed to weld our cap on.
