This bolt-in SLA (Short-Long-Arm) suspension system replaces the stock MacPherson strut design with a billet aluminum upper control arm, tubular lower arm and spindles with S550/S650 Mustang hubs. The factory strut design offers very little camber gain and poor overall geometry.
This design greatly improves negative camber gain, which positions the tire perpendicular to the pavement through the corners without the need for excessive static camber and overly stiff spring rates. Caster, roll center and Ackerman angles were also optimized. Compatible with either Ridetech Coil-overs or Shockwave air suspension (sold separately).
