These cooling fins, combined with the aluminum construction, promote reduced transmission oil temperatures. The PPE Heavy-Duty Aluminum Transmission Pan also features a high-powered Neodymium magnet equipped drain plug to keep harmful ferrous metal contaminants out of the transmission internals.
