Exposed to extreme temperatures and the elements, over time the rubber begins to crack which can lead to a catastrophic hose failure. Omix has replacement brake hoses, built to the standards demanded by the factory, for safety you can depend on. This replacement REAR axle brake hose fits 76-83 CJ5, 76-86 CJ7 and 81-86 CJ8 Scrambler models equipped with rear drum brakes. Replaces OE 536282
