Dodge changed the RAM rear suspension in 2009, using coil springs instead of a traditional leaf spring pack. Therefore, one of the main concerns is ride quality for the Ram 1500, as a coil spring provides a softer ride than leafs, so MaxTrac produced these coils to maintain that comfort.
