Large Five Layer Performance Air Filter:
This 7" tall 360-degree radial flow air filter features a large 5" flange and our pre-oiled Pro 5R media with five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for maximum performance. It provides your engine with the largest amount of high-flowing air, usually resulting in the highest power gains out of all our filter media options. This media is perfect for street use. Its inverted top makes for more filter surface area, resulting in longer service intervals.
One-Piece Housing:
The included massive air filter is surrounded by an open-element XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer housing that minimizes warm engine air for maximum performance. Its open design allows for easy viewing of the air filter and delivers an aggressive Air Intake sound. It utilizes the vehicle's OE air inlet with no additional hardware. An additional auxiliary air inlet is available for use to bring in air when under power, or can be closed with an included plug if desired.
Dyno-Tuned Intake Tube:
This system features a high quality, computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Its XLPE material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable.
Hassle-Free Installation:
The computer designed system utilizes factory mounting locations, minimizing the use of unnecessary hardware and ensuring a perfect fit every time. Its innovative design makes for a hassle-free, direct bolt-on installation process that requires no cutting or drilling. Its revolutionary design, featuring our patent pending filter-to-housing interface, uses half the number of parts of a traditional cold air intake system.
Fitment Note 1:
This item will NOT fit Jeep Grand Cherokee models equipped with the Jeep SRT hoods.
Fitment Note 2:
This item will fit Dodge Durango models equipped with the Dodge SRT hood. For these model vehicles, the air filter sits right under the SRT hood vent. aFe POWER recommends purchasing 28-10033 pre-filter to protect the air filter from rain and other elements. aFe POWER strongly recommends avoiding pressure washing around the hood vent and driving under heavy rain.
