The 1991 - 1997 Toyota Lancrusier 80 Series is a solid axle, coil sprung vehicle that requires special attention when it comes to Shock tuning. Rebound control needs to be robust enough to tame the top-heavy nature of these vehicles, yet also allow droop and flex for stable off-road traversing. Our digressive piston design is very well suited for this task and can develop high forces in the mid to low speed range without over-damping the suspension. Understanding this, ICON engineers have developed multiple stages of performance Shock to handle different demands Landcrusier 80 Series requires. ICON's 4-6" Lift Stage 1 System is a 2.5" performance Shock system designed for street and heavy offroad use. 2.5" reservoir Shock front and rear ensure optimum performance by increasing the duration of consistent damping regardless of situation, keeping the Shock at a cooler operating temperature during extended offroad use.
