EZ-990™ Rear Helper Springs by Hellwig®. Quantity: 2 per Pack. Due to clearance issues on your car the springs are add to the top of the factory spring pack so the factory bump stop is retained. New axle U-bolts are center bolts are provided for the springs. Once installed you can adjust the Hellwig Springs to provide the desired amount of load support. Once you set them no further adjustment is required. The Hellwig Helper Spring is easily installed using common hand tools with no drilling required. Keep in mind, adding helper springs Does Not increase the factory GVWR rating. Crafted from heat-treated ASTM 5160 alloy spring steel for maximum strength and resilience, these feature a spring rate that becomes firmer as pressure increases. Recommended for occasional towing needs such as boats or trailers, these maintain proper rear ride height, prevent original springs from sagging due to sustained load compression, and help reduce bouncing during towing. These add the ability to be adjusted independently when carrying uneven side-to-side loads. Fitted U-bolts and related hardware are included for mounting. Drilling may be required.
