The system retains the factory front struts while adding two high-quality Fabtech-built Dirt Logic 2.25 shocks featuring valving specifically tuned for the Sprinter platform. This custom valving delivers superior ride quality whether the van is fully loaded or unloaded. The Dirt Logic 2.25 shocks are constructed with stainless steel bodies to provide maximum corrosion resistance in all driving conditions.
The heavy-duty auxiliary shock mounts are built from 1/4" thick steel and attach directly to the suspension subframe with no connection to the unibody structure. This subframe-mounted design is far superior to unibody-mounted systems, helping to isolate road noise and eliminate unnecessary stress on the vehicle’s body. Installation requires drilling only two holes, takes approximately 1-2 hours, and does not require any interior removal.
