This Trail suspension system is engineered to deliver enhanced performance across all off highway driving conditions, including rock crawling, aggressive trail use, and overland expeditions. On road, the suspension is carefully tuned with dual rate coil springs and matched shock valving to provide a smooth, controlled, and comfortable ride for daily driving.
The system is a complete short arm design that utilizes the factory control arm mounting locations for a straightforward installation. Fabtech heavy duty lower link arms are constructed from 1.75" OD .250" thick wall steel tubing and are guaranteed not to bend. These arms feature large polyurethane bushings on one end and Fabtech’s exclusive 5 Ton Joint on the other for maximum durability, quiet operation, and long service life.
Corner specific long travel dual rate coil springs keep the vehicle level side to side while allowing increased suspension travel. The initial spring rate delivers a soft, compliant ride over small bumps, while the secondary rate is designed to manage vehicle payload and absorb larger impacts at higher speeds.
Steering geometry is corrected using a Draglink Flip System paired with a heavy duty front Track Bar bracket. This combination restores the steering components to the factory operating plane, allowing full articulation without binding and eliminating bump steer. The factory pitman arm angle is retained, preventing additional stress on the steering box.
A reinforced rear Track Bar bracket maintains the factory roll center while properly centering the axle. Front and rear bump stop extensions are included to prevent suspension over cycling and protect critical steering and suspension components throughout the full range of travel.
