A key advantage of the Crawler kit is the optimized link arm geometry and ground clearance. The precise location of the link arms allows the suspension to maintain superior handling throughout its full travel range. The front link arms mount to a full-width crossmember that strengthens the frame and ensures correct geometry, while the adjustable rear link arms utilize factory mounting points for easier installation.
The lower link arms are built from massive 2″ OD, .313″ wall tubing and are guaranteed not to bend. Both upper and lower arms feature Fabtech’s exclusive 5 Ton Joints®, which carry a lifetime guarantee to never wear out. These joints provide exceptional durability offroad while maintaining smooth, quiet operation on the street.
Corner-specific dual-rate coil springs deliver a smooth ride over small bumps while transitioning into a firmer rate for improved load support and better handling of larger impacts. Additional components such as the Draglink Flip System, lower shock mounts, track bar brackets, bump stop extensions, extended sway bar links, and Dirt Logic shocks all work together to maximize suspension travel, control, and ride comfort.
