This Trail system for the 2018–2025 Jeep JL 4WD (4-door) is engineered to elevate suspension performance across all forms of off-highway use, including rock crawling, aggressive trail driving, and long-distance overlanding. On the road, the system provides a smooth and highly compliant ride thanks to properly tuned Dual Rate coil springs and precision-valved shocks.
The complete short-arm suspension design installs easily using factory control arm mounts. Fabtech’s heavy-duty link arms, built from 1.75″ OD and .250″-wall steel tubing, offer outstanding strength and are guaranteed never to bend. Each arm features a large polyurethane bushing on one end and internal threads on the other to accept the innovative Fabtech 5 Ton Joint®, providing exceptional durability, articulation, and quiet operation.
Fabtech’s long-travel, corner-specific Dual Rate coil springs keep the Jeep level side to side while maximizing suspension articulation. The first spring stage provides a soft, comfortable ride with extended travel capability, while the second stage supports vehicle payload and absorbs larger impacts during high-speed off-road use.
The Draglink Flip System and heavy-duty Track Bar bracket correct steering geometry for the increased ride height. This combination repositions the steering linkage back to the factory plane, preventing draglink binding through full articulation. The draglink angle relative to the pitman arm remains unchanged, avoiding additional side load on the steering box sector shaft and helping extend steering box life.
A reinforced rear Track Bar bracket with side support restores the factory roll center and re-centers the axle, ensuring stable handling. Front and rear bump stop extensions protect the suspension from over-cycling during full compression, preserving component integrity.
Every component in this system is engineered for durability, performance, and ease of installation. This makes the Trail system a top choice for daily drivers who also enjoy challenging trails and overlanding adventures, knowing they have a premium suspension package under their Jeep.
