This 3″ Ram 1500 lift kit is engineered to deliver superior ride quality with the clearance needed to run 35″ tires for both on and offroad use. The mild lift height provides a clean, commanding stance without being excessive. Fabtech thoroughly cycled and tested the system with their heavy duty ball joint upper control arms to ensure there is no suspension or steering bind at any point in the travel range.
The truck maintains full lock-to-lock steering with no loss of turning radius. The factory plastic upper control arms with small ball joints are replaced by Fabtech’s tubular steel arms featuring large, robust ball joints designed for the demands of aggressive offroad driving. Front lift is provided by a steel spacer above the coilover and a coil spring collar below the spring, working together to achieve a true 3″ lift while maintaining proper suspension geometry.
The rear lift is accomplished with coil spacers that retain the factory ride and load handling characteristics. Stealth monotube shocks with Nitrocarb piston rods offer excellent corrosion resistance, impact durability, and balanced on and offroad damping performance. This high quality system installs easily and provides long-term strength, handling improvement, and reliability for the Ram 1500.
