This 3″ Ram 1500 lift kit is engineered to deliver a superior ride quality with the clearance needed to run 35″ tires for on and offroad use. The mild lift height provides a clean, commanding stance without going excessive. Fabtech extensively tested the 3″ lift with their heavy duty ball joint upper control arms to ensure there is no suspension or steering bind throughout the full travel range.
The truck maintains full lock-to-lock steering with no loss of turning radius. The factory Ram upper control arm uses a lightweight plastic construction with a small ball joint, while Fabtech’s upgraded tubular steel arms use large, robust ball joints for increased strength and durability during aggressive offroad driving.
Front lift is achieved with a steel spacer above the factory coilover and a coil spring collar below the spring, working together to deliver a true 3″ of lift while maintaining proper suspension geometry. The rear receives a coil spring spacer to preserve factory-like stance and ride quality.
