Fabtech coil springs are engineered to retain factory load-carrying capacity while increasing suspension travel. The coil springs and associated bracketry allow for an additional inch of compression travel over stock without suspension bind, providing improved performance when navigating rugged off-road terrain.
Sway bar drop brackets are included to properly reposition the front sway bar, preventing the link ends from going over center at full droop and eliminating bind. Brake line extension brackets relocate the factory brake lines lower on the frame to prevent overstretching throughout the increased suspension travel. Fabtech uses extension brackets rather than longer brake lines to keep the factory brake system sealed for a fast and trouble-free installation.
This suspension system utilizes the factory bump stops without extensions, allowing for increased suspension travel when combined with Fabtech coil springs and components.
To help maintain factory alignment specifications, Fabtech includes 2-degree adjustable alignment ball joint inserts. These inserts assist in retaining factory caster settings for optimal drivability.
After lifting a Super Duty, the front axle can shift laterally due to the factory track bar length. To correct this, Fabtech includes a heavy-duty adjustable track bar that allows on-vehicle adjustment to properly center the front axle. This ensures correct front-to-rear axle tracking and excellent highway manners.
This lift kit includes Fabtech Dirt Logic 2.25 shocks featuring stainless steel shock bodies and NitroSteel piston rods for maximum corrosion resistance and durability. These shocks deliver superior ride quality both on-road and off-road with excellent damping performance.
With the installation of this 2.5" lift, the vehicle’s stance becomes nearly level front to rear compared to the factory nose-down appearance. For owners who prefer to retain more of the factory rake, Fabtech offers an optional 4" rear block kit (FTS22214), which replaces the factory 2.5" blocks and provides an additional 1.5" of rear lift over stock.
