Sway bar drop brackets reposition the front sway bar to prevent the link ends from going over-center at full droop, ensuring smooth articulation without binding. Brake line extension brackets relocate the brake lines downward on the frame to prevent overstretching throughout the expanded travel range. By using extension brackets instead of longer brake lines, the factory brake system remains sealed for fast, clean, and reliable installation.
This suspension kit utilizes the factory bump stops without extensions, which permits more usable suspension travel when paired with Fabtech’s coil springs and components.
Lifting a Super Duty commonly shifts the front axle to one side due to the stock track bar length and mounting location. To correct this, Fabtech includes a heavy-duty 1/4″ thick steel Track Bar mount, which repositions the track bar to recenter the axle under the vehicle to factory specifications. This ensures proper tracking of the front and rear axles and delivers excellent highway stability.
The kit includes premium Dirt Logic 2.25 shocks, built with stainless steel bodies and NitroSteel® piston rods for maximum corrosion resistance and durability. These shocks provide superior ride quality on the highway and excellent damping performance during off-road use.
With this 2.5″ lift installed, the truck achieves a nearly level front-to-rear stance compared to its factory nose-down appearance. For those who prefer to maintain more rake, an optional 4″ rear block kit (FTS22214) is available. These blocks replace the factory 2.5″ versions and provide an additional 1.5″ of rear lift.
