Designed for the 2017-2020 Ford F150 Raptor 4WD, Fabtech’s 4″ Suspension System delivers increased ride height to allow fitment of 37″ tall tires while retaining the factory SVT control arms and Fox Shox. This system is engineered to enhance off-road capability without compromising the Raptor’s refined on-road performance.
A key component of this 4″ system is the inclusion of heavy-duty ductile iron steering knuckles, specifically designed to handle the added stress of 37″ tires while maintaining full functionality of the vehicle’s ESC and Traction Control systems. Oversized tires can create steering and braking issues when paired with factory knuckles, which Fabtech addresses with a purpose-built design for long-term durability and reliability.
The factory Raptor SVT control arms are relocated using high-strength 1/4″ thick steel crossmembers that retain the vehicle’s impressive suspension travel for aggressive off-road use. The factory Fox Shox are also retained and paired with heavy-duty front and rear shock extensions to accommodate the increased ride height.
To maintain proper CV axle angles at the new lift height, the front differential is relocated and protected by a 1/4″ thick steel skid plate. The result is a well-balanced suspension system that allows the Raptor to confidently run 37″ tires while preserving factory ride quality, handling characteristics, and off-road performance.
