The 2019–2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss and GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 4WD come factory-equipped with a 2″ lift compared to standard GM 1500 models. Fabtech’s 4″ suspension system builds on this factory advantage, delivering a total lift height that provides proper clearance for 35″ tires. Once installed, a Trail Boss or AT4 equipped with this system will sit at the same height as a standard 1500 running a full 6″ suspension lift with 35″ tires.
The system maintains a near-stock track width, ensuring the tires remain tucked neatly under the fenders for a clean, proportional appearance. Fabtech’s proprietary steering knuckle geometry offers an excellent turning radius, allowing smooth lock-to-lock maneuverability even in tight spaces.
Heavy-duty 1/4″ thick steel crossmembers incorporate OE-style alignment cam pins that utilize the factory adjusters for simple and precise alignment. Triple front differential mounts reposition the differential to maintain proper driveline angles, delivering vibration-free performance at highway speeds.
The factory Trail Boss or AT4 coilovers are replaced with Fabtech’s premium stainless steel Dirt Logic 2.5 Coilovers, designed for aggressive off-road use while still providing a comfortable, controlled ride on pavement. In the rear, Dirt Logic 2.25 shocks balance the damping characteristics for a smooth and stable driving experience.
Rear lift is achieved by removing the factory 2″ block and installing a 5″ block and U-bolt system, ensuring proper stance and driveline geometry. Every aspect of the Trail Boss/AT4 suspension has been carefully engineered to maintain full suspension travel, correct steering function, and proper cycling without overextension.
