The 2019–24 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss and GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 4WD come factory-equipped with a 2" lift, giving them a taller stance compared to other GM 1500 models. Fabtech’s 4" suspension system is engineered to add an additional 4" of lift on top of the factory height, providing the necessary clearance for 35" tall tires. Once installed, a Trail Boss or AT4 equipped with the Fabtech 4" system will sit at the same overall height as a standard 1500 running a 6" suspension and 35" tires.
Fabtech’s system delivers exceptional drivability on and off the road, with zero bump steer throughout the suspension cycle to reduce driver fatigue and improve handling. The near-stock track width ensures the tires remain properly positioned under the fenders for a clean appearance, while proprietary steering knuckle geometry maintains an impressive lock-to-lock turning radius for maneuverability in tight areas. The included Dirt Logic 2.5 Coilovers and Dirt Logic 2.25 rear shocks provide premium ride quality and excellent damping for aggressive off-road use.
Every component of the Trail Boss/AT4 suspension has been engineered to ensure proper wheel travel and full steering range without over-cycling. Rear lift is achieved by replacing the factory 2" block with a 5" block and u-bolt system.
