This 4" Basic Suspension System is designed for 2014-18 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 2WD/4WD models, utilizing the same proven heavy-duty construction and engineering found in Fabtech’s 6" systems, but with a reduced lift height ideal for 33" tall tires. The system delivers improved ground clearance while maintaining a controlled, stock-like ride quality.
The front suspension features high-arched lower control arm crossmembers constructed from heavy-duty 1/4" thick steel to provide maximum strength and durability. Fabtech ductile iron steering knuckles are engineered to retain the factory track width, keeping the tires properly positioned under the fenders for a clean, factory-style appearance.
Front lift is achieved using coilover spacers that utilize the factory front coilover shocks, allowing the suspension to maintain original ride characteristics. A front differential skid plate is included to provide added protection for underbody components during off-road or harsh driving conditions.
Rear lift is accomplished using a block and U-bolt configuration to achieve proper stance and ride height. The system is completed with rear performance shocks that replace the factory units, delivering improved damping control and enhanced ride stability.
