The 2015–2016 Chevy 1500 SUV and GMC 1500 SUV 2WD/4WD system features a proven one-piece high-arched lower crossmember design with an integrated differential skid plate, providing solid front suspension support and increased ground clearance. The extended-length replacement steering knuckles are engineered to maintain near-stock track width and preserve full turning radius for excellent maneuverability in tight spaces.
The rear system includes extended-length tubular upper and lower link arms and an oversized track bar relocation bracket to correctly position the axle with zero driveline vibration. Rear coil springs maintain proper ride height and contribute to a balanced stance.
The Basic System also comes equipped with front strut assembly spacers and rear performance coil springs. It provides a stock-like ride quality and is fully compatible with both MagneRide and non-MagneRide models.
