This 6" Basic Suspension System is designed for 2014-18 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 2WD/4WD models, utilizing Fabtech’s industry-leading crossmember and spindle technology to deliver increased ride height while maintaining a smooth, factory-like ride.
Front lift is achieved by using the factory front coilover shocks combined with precision steel spacers, allowing the suspension to retain stock ride quality. Extended-length steering knuckles are specifically engineered for aluminum suspension components to keep the track width close to stock and ensure proper operation with factory Stabilitrac® safety systems.
The front differential is relocated using heavy-duty brackets to maintain correct driveline geometry at the new lift height. A tightly formed 1/4" thick steel skid plate is included to provide added protection for off-road use and underbody durability.
Rear suspension lift is accomplished with add-a-leafs paired with 5" rear blocks and U-bolts to maintain proper stance and load support. The factory rear shocks are replaced with Stealth shocks to deliver increased damping control and improved ride stability.
