This 6" Performance Suspension System is engineered for 2014-18 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 2WD/4WD models, utilizing Fabtech’s industry-leading crossmember and spindle technology to deliver increased ride height with strength, stability, and refined performance.
The front suspension features a high-arched 1/4" thick steel crossmember that is precisely formed to fit the bottom of the frame without cutting or modification, allowing for a fast and clean installation. Extended-length steering knuckles are specifically designed for aluminum suspension components to keep the track width close to stock while maintaining full compatibility with factory Stabilitrac® safety systems.
The front differential is relocated using heavy-duty brackets to maintain proper driveline geometry at the new lift height. A tightly formed 1/4" thick steel skid plate is included to protect the front differential from off-road obstacles and harsh terrain.
Rear suspension lift is achieved using add-a-leafs combined with 5" rear blocks and U-bolts to maintain proper stance, load support, and driveline alignment.
What sets the 6" Performance System apart is the inclusion of Fabtech Dirt Logic shocks. The factory front coilover shocks are replaced with Dirt Logic 2.5 coilovers that are ride-tuned in-house to provide a smooth highway ride with excellent off-road damping. These coilovers feature cold-wound coil springs for optimal ride quality. The rear suspension is upgraded with Dirt Logic 2.25 shocks, tuned for a compliant on-road feel with strong off-road capability, delivering a noticeable improvement in ride and control.
