This 6" Suspension System is designed for 2007-13 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD models, using Fabtech’s industry-leading crossmember and spindle technology to deliver increased ride height with dependable performance. The system is engineered to properly clear up to 35" tall tires while maintaining a balanced and controlled driving experience.
Extended-length steering knuckles are carefully designed to keep the vehicle’s track width close to stock while preserving an excellent turning radius. This ensures easy maneuverability in tight spaces without sacrificing steering precision or stability.
Heavy-duty lower control arm crossmembers are reinforced with cross tubes and tubular frame struts to effectively distribute front suspension impact loads. A tightly formed 1/4" thick steel skid plate protects the front differential while adding strength to the overall suspension structure.
Rear suspension lift is achieved using a block and add-a-leaf system to maintain proper ride height and load support. The Basic system includes a front coilover spacer setup that utilizes the factory coilover assemblies, delivering a comfortable, stock-like ride.
This suspension system is fully compatible with factory Stabilitrak® safety functions and does not require reprogramming of the vehicle’s computer, ensuring seamless integration with factory systems.
