This 6" Suspension System is engineered for 2007-13 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD models, utilizing Fabtech’s industry-leading crossmember and spindle technology. The system provides increased ride height to properly clear up to 35" tall tires while maintaining excellent ride quality and vehicle stability.
Extended-length steering knuckles are precisely designed to keep the track width close to stock while preserving a superior turning radius for confident maneuverability in tight driving conditions. Heavy-duty lower control arm crossmembers are reinforced with cross tubes and tubular frame struts to effectively distribute front suspension impact loads.
The front differential is protected by a tightly formed 1/4" thick steel skid plate that adds strength and underbody protection. Rear suspension lift is achieved using a block and add-a-leaf system to maintain proper ride height and load capacity.
The Basic system includes a front coilover spacer setup that utilizes the factory coilover assemblies to deliver a stock-like ride. This suspension system is fully compatible with factory Stabilitrak® safety functions and does not require vehicle computer reprogramming.
