The 2001-2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD/3500HD and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD 2WD/4WD can be upgraded with Fabtech’ 8" Performance Suspension System, engineered to deliver superior ride quality, massive ground clearance, and the ability to run 37" tall tires without adjusting the torsion bars. This system utilizes one-piece cast drop-down steering knuckles paired with heavy-duty 1/4" thick high-arched lower control arm crossmembers and tubular upper control arms for maximum strength and suspension performance.
The front differential is correctly relocated to eliminate driveshaft vibration on 2001–2006 models using the stock driveshaft. For 2007–2008 models equipped with the Magna 1625 transfer case, a CV-style front driveshaft is required for proper high-speed 4WD operation. The included tubular upper control arms mount in the stock frame pockets with urethane bushings and feature double shock tabs for seamless integration with Fabtech’ optional dual front shock hoop system.
The front suspension package is completed with a differential skid plate, tubular crossmember supports, and impact struts, while torsion bar drop brackets correctly align the bars with the relocated factory lower control arms. Rear lift is achieved using a 4" block kit combined with 2" add-a-leafs, along with rear bump stop brackets and a carrier bearing drop bracket to maintain proper driveline alignment.
