Stock ball joints can wear out prematurely under aggressive off-road use, leading to reduced performance or potential failure. Each arm is constructed from .120″ wall, 1.50″ OD 4130 chromoly tubing paired with 1″ FK stainless steel PTFE-lined Uniballs for maximum articulation, strength, and reliability. Additional caster is built into the design to deliver superior alignability and improved handling when running oversized tires.
The heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel Uniball pins are designed to fit directly into the factory ball joint tapers with no spindle modification required, making installation straightforward and allowing for an easy return-to-stock option. Fabtech also includes 17-4 stainless steel misalignments to ensure proper clearance of the Uniballs throughout the suspension travel.
