The BedRug Tailgate Mat can to be used independently or in conjunction with any style of the BedRug Mat. It features a ¼" thick foam backing to provide a cushion for your knees when accessing your truck bed, using only hook and loop fasteners for an easy, no damage install.
Much like the BedRug, the BedRug Tailgate Mat will give you the look and feel of carpet in an ultra-tough 100% polypropylene (essentially plastic) product. It will protect your tailgate while standing up to whatever you can throw at it: from mulch to bleach.
The BedRug Tailgate Mat material is fade and UV resistant. Made of foam similar to that used in life jackets, it doesn't absorb water and will not mold or mildew. Just clean it with a hose, power washer or vacuum and your BedRug Tailgate Mat is good as new.
