XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) is not a paintable material. Engineered using 3D laser scanning and CAD software, the Tub Rail Covers are designed for a perfect fit. Although all vehicles are not built the same, the oversized mounting holes allow for precise placement to align with your vehicle’s door jams before securely fastening into place for a perfect fit and finish. Whether using the factory hardware or the optional Stainless Steel security screws, both can be stored into the same factory tray holder in the back of the Jeep, so they are never misplaced. Stainless-steel provides good strength and corrosion resistance in bad environments like high temperature, cold weather and high humidity areas.
