Many of the 6.0L Powerstroke high-pressure oil system problems are caused by failed/leaking standpipes and/or rail plugs (dummy plugs). Common symptoms include no starts while the engine is warm, engine stalls, loss of power, etc. The PPE Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Standpipe and Rail Plug Kit are designed to solve this common issue.
The kit is constructed of high-grade alloy steels and premium seals. The internal seals of the standpipes are enhanced to prevent oil leaks. The O-rings in the kit are upgraded to heat-resistant Viton material. These new O-rings also have higher strength which eliminates premature tearing and deformation.
