There Are Some Sweet Chevrolet Silverado Deals This Month

March 4, 2022

The Bow Tie brand is slashing prices of its Silverado during Truck Month.

In February, Cadillac and Chevrolet offered several models with some pretty enticing deals. The CT4 was available with $500 off. That couldn't match Chevrolet's discount on the Blazer, with the brand knocking up to $1,750 off 2021 models. Both paled in comparison to the price reduction available on Silverado 1500 and 1500 Limited models.

With up to $3,750 off, it wasn't a deal to be missed out on. But, thankfully, March is Truck Month over at Chevrolet, so customers looking to take advantage of Silverado deals can still do so. The discount applies to both 2021 Silverado 1500 and 2022 Silverado 1500 Limited models.

For the 2021 model, a $750 or $1,000 cash allowance is available, along with a package discount of $2,000 or $2,500. This is dependent on the powertrain, however. In total, a substantial $3,500 price reduction is available on cash deals. The 2022 model is eligible for between $500 and $1,000 off, with a package discount of $2,000 on certain powertrains. While the combined discount is just $3,000, the Limited also receives an accessory allowance valued at $1,000.

Those who prefer to finance their trucks are also catered to. Both the 2021 Silverado 1500 and 2022 Silverado 1500 Limited are entitled to interest-free financing for up to four years, but customers need to finance through GM Financial. A $500 purchase bonus is up for grabs too, but Chevrolet notes the deal is only available to "very well-qualified buyers." Even when purchased through financing, the Limited retains its $1,000 accessory allowance.

If you choose to go the leasing route, both the '21 Silverado 1500 and '22 Silverado Short Box Crew Cab 4WD LT with the turbocharged 2.7-liter engine is available for $329 per month for two years. The deal needs no security deposit, but the former demands $4,939 at signing, and the latter $5,229. This is required at signing (for current lessees of a MY2017 or newer non-GM vehicle). Both lease deals are linked to an ultra low-mileage 10,000-mile lease.

Available nationwide, Chevrolet notes that some customers may not be eligible for the discount offers. If you want to take advantage of these appealing incentives, you better act quickly, as the brand notes customers need to take delivery of discounted Silverados by April 4, 2022. With car prices hitting unprecedented levels, cash-strapped consumers will appreciate any discount, even if it's minor.

Chevrolet's latest Silverado discount will certainly lure customers into showrooms, as up to $3,750 off a truck can't be ignored. Discounts aside, General Motors has big plans for the Silverado nameplate. Ready to battle the F-150 Lightning, the Silverado EV will boast an incredible 664-horsepower and 400 miles of range. It's set to be a very impressive vehicle but, with strong demand, we're pretty sure the electrified variant won't be offered with the same kind of deals.
