Clear-Anodized Aluminum Construction for Durability

Each shock is built from CNC-machined, 6061-T6 aluminum and features a clear-anodized finish that resists corrosion and dissipates heat more efficiently than steel. This impact-extruded aluminum body ensures long-term reliability in all climates and terrains while keeping the shock cooler under load.

Mono-Tube Design with Internal Floating Piston (IFP)

At the heart of the shock is FOX’s Internal Floating Piston technology, which separates the nitrogen-charged gas chamber from the shock oil. This design prevents oil aeration and ensures consistent damping through extreme changes in terrain, speed, and temperature. The result is fade-free, responsive control whether you’re navigating trails or cruising highways.

Race-Inspired Valving with Precision Components

The Performance Series 2.0 IFP shock uses a race-developed, high-flow piston that works in harmony with application-specific valving. Every component is precision-engineered: from the black-anodized billet aluminum internals to the 5/8" hard chrome plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft. The redundant multi-seal pack ensures longevity while reducing friction and noise.

Improved Ride Quality in All Conditions

Designed to handle aggressive terrain without compromising comfort, these shocks use FOX’s JM92 advanced suspension fluid to maintain viscosity across a wide temperature range. Quiet nitrile rubber bushings improve suspension articulation and minimize cabin noise, offering a refined yet capable driving experience on- and off-road.
