The Bronco's customization potential is unrivaled.

The 2021 SEMA Show will be held from November 1-5 in Las Vegas and there's plenty to look forward to. Mopar has already teased some exciting concepts such as a Ram 1500 that looks perfect for camping enthusiasts, and Chevrolet has promised that it will unveil over a dozen custom builds.

Not to be outdone by these two rivals, Ford has some big plans of its own, and the Blue Oval has just shared the details of several Bronco and Bronco Sport project vehicles that will be shown at SEMA. The six custom builds will demonstrate the customization potential of both SUVs.

These custom builds are equipped with lift kits, racks, and many more genuine Ford parts and accessories that are available to customers. Coinciding with the reveal of the six builds will be the live debut of the Built Wild Bronco brand.

One of the main parts that Ford Performance Parts will show for the first time is a front drive unit for the Bronco that supports up to a 5.38:1 gearset, giving the Bronco a nice boost in off-road conditions. As for the custom builds themselves, we'll start with the Bronco RTR Fun-Runner by RTR Vehicles. Based on a two-door Badlands model, this one gets a more powerful sound for the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine and a fun, bright exterior design.

The RTR features an Ultimate Dana 44 FDU front axle. At the back, there's a fun-haver long-travel spec Ultimate Dana 60 semi-float rear axle. It also gets RCV Performance CV axles and a performance intake system. This Bronco rides on RTR Tech 6 forged bead-lock wheels wrapped in 37-inch off-road tires. Luminous green, yellow, and blue trim can be found outside.

Next is the Bronco by BDS Suspensions which is based on a two-door Black Diamond series Bronco. The long list of upgrades applied to this red Bronco include Fox 2.5 PES coilovers, 37-inch BFGoodrich KM3 tires, CrawlTek Revolution bumpers, and an ARB Twin-Air underhood air compressor.

Possibly the most extreme build of all is the Bronco by Tucci Hot Rods. Designed for tackling deep snow and ice, normal wheels and tires have been replaced by 8-series tracks. This particular build has the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine and a seven-speed manual gearbox; this transmission option has been quite popular with Bronco customers. A flat snowboard rack, a Yakima LockNLoad platform roof rack system, and retractable running boards have also been added to this wild Bronco build.

Next is the Bronco Baja Forged by LGE-CTS Motorsports based on a four-door Outer Banks model. It has amenities such as an onboard fridge and a cargo organizer, while an Icon Vehicle Dynamics 3.0 suspension lift gives it more capability off-road. A JBL sound bar, off-road rock lights, and Baja Forged bumpers are also included.

Finally, there are two Bronco Sport custom builds. The first one is also from LGE-CTS Motorsports and is called the Bronco Sport Baja Forged. It gets a two-inch suspension lift, off-road rock lights, and an upgraded 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine with a Borla cat-back performance exhaust system. Another useful addition is the WARN Industries VR EVO winch and Factor 55 hook.

Finally, there is the Bronco Sport by CGS Performance Products. Based on a four-door Badlands model and finished here in red, it rides on Reserve Forged wheels wrapped in 17-inch Toyo Open Country A/T III all-terrain tires. It comes with an underbody light kit, hitch enhancements, fender flares, and more.

"Bronco and Bronco Sport customers love parts and accessories that emphasize performance and off-road lifestyle, so we worked closely with Bronco design and vehicle engineering to deliver the products to match their individual lifestyle," said Eric Cin, Ford global director, vehicle personalization, accessories, and licensing.

Current and future Bronco and Bronco Sport owners looking for inspiration on how to improve their SUV will certainly find it at this year's SEMA Show.
