    Important Notes : If you have installed larger tires on your rig then a matching spare tire is a must. The problem comes when you try to bolt that new monster tire/wheel combo on your factory spare tire mount. Outland Automotive has a simple solution with the HD Tire Carrier Mount. The HD Tire Carrier Mount is constructed of heavy ¼-inch thick steel plate and mounts directly to the tailgate. The tire is relocated two inches out from the old mount for larger tire clearance (Maximum tire diameter=35 inch).
