New Roush F-150 Is One Mean-Looking Truck
Production of the 2020 Ford F-150 5.11 Tactical Edition will be limited to just 150 units.
Roush already offers several tuning packages that take the Ford F-150 to new extremes such as the 650-hp Nightmare edition. Now, the renowned Mustang tuner has unveiled its new 2020 F-150 5.11 Tactical Edition at the 2020 SHOT Show in Las Vegas. Based on the F-150 Lariat, the 2020 F-150 5.11 Tactical Edition will be limited to 150 examples. As the name suggests, each example is equipped with 5.11 Tactical gear.
Powering Roush's modified F-150 is a 5.0-liter V8 engine equipped with a 2.65-liter Roush supercharger that produces 650 hp and 610 lb-ft of torque. That's a substantial boost over the standard F-150 Lariat, which generates 395 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.
Other mechanical upgrades include a Roush active catback performance exhaust system and a Fox 2.0 Performance Series suspension system that raises the ride height.
The F.150 5.11 Tactical Edition also rides on black 20-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch General Grabber A/TX LT305/55 all-terrain tires that promises good grip both on and off-road. A custom grille, flared fenders, and custom badging further distinguish Roush's truck from the standard F-150. This is one very mean-looking truck.
Exterior color choices are limited to Agate Black and Abyss Gray. As standard, every F-150 5.11 Tactical Edition comes with a special graphics package as well as a a 5.11 Tactical/Roush Performance Gear kit that includes a hard case with a multi-tool, tactical pen, steel multi-tool money clip, tactical duffle bag, a range hat, and a USA flag patch.
IF you want to buy the 2020 Roush F-150 5.11 Tactical Edition, be prepared to pay $31,000 over the base price of the F-150 Lariat. The standard truck starts at $42,200, bringing the total to $73,200. Each 2020 Roush F-150 5.11 Tactical Edition also comes with a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty.
