New 2020 Roush F-150 Trucks Will Make A Raptor Cry

No EcoBoost here. Just supercharged V8s.

The 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor is the epitome of off-road pick truck performance with its twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 delivering 450 horsepower and its advanced Fox racing suspension. But no matter how many trails the Raptor leaves trembling in its wake, there will always be doubters who lament the death of its V8 engine. For those people, there's Roush. Roush garnered its fame building highly-modified Mustangs but has expanded to high-performance F-150 models for both street and off-road use.

These Roush trucks have been terrorizing the street and dirt trails for a few years and now the company has revealed its lineup of 2020 models. Roush Performance has announced that its 2020 Nitemare and 2020 F-150 SC pickup are now available to order at all Roush Authorized Ford dealerships.

If you don't plan to leave the pavement, the Nitemare (pictured above) is equipped with a TVS R2650 Supercharger on its 5.0-liter V8, which now produces 650 horsepower and 610 pound-feet of torque. With this much power on tap, the Regular Cab 4x4 truck can hit 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds (a Raptor takes 5.1 seconds).

The Nitemare pack costs $19,150 above the price of the base vehicle and includes the following: dual tip cat-back exhaust, Roush grille, custom front bumper cover, lower kit, 22-inch wheels, Continental CrossContact tires, puddle lamps, fender badges, branded floor liners, Roush keyfobs, graphics, and windshield banner. Optionally, the Nitemare can be equipped with a premium leather package, active exhaust, off-road utility kit, console vault, retractable bed cover, and bed cargo manager.

For off-road enthusiasts, the 2020 Roush F-150 SC (pictured below) offers the same supercharged power in a more rugged package. This package costs $24,000 and includes many of the same features of the Nitemare but with a Fox 2.0 Off-Road Suspension System, General Tire Grabber ATX 33-inch tires, fender flares, and some other unique visual upgrades.

"Our truck customers want serious horsepower and serious capability," said Jack Roush Jr. "Both the Nitemare and the F-150 SC are a thrill to drive - whether you're on the street, towing your boat, or enjoying the trails off-road, Roush trucks deliver." Both trucks include a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty and a certificate of authenticity.
