Nothing is getting in its way.

Earlier this year, we marveled at the Ford F-150 AT44 from Arctic Trucks. These guys are known for modifying popular trucks from Ford, Toyota, and Nissan and equipping them for extreme use in the Arctic or any other extreme terrain you can think of.

Although capability rather than aesthetics is the ultimate goal, the two sometimes go hand in hand, as is the case with these latest pictures of the F-150 AT44, which looks like an absolute monster. Where the earlier pictures were hardly disappointing, the latest images showcase more detail, such as the row of four spotlights which sit just in front of the grille.

Those 44-inch Nokian Hakkapeliitta tires and flared fenders totally transform the look of the truck, and in case you forgot who was responsible for your go-anywhere chariot, prominent Arctic Trucks branding adorns the sides and the tailgate.

We now also get a clearer view of the AT44's rear-end, which although not as dramatic as the face, is dominated by the wider tires and arches. Beneath the muscular body is a beefed-up suspension built by Arctic Trucks which has superior underbody protection.

Now that the all-new Ford F-150 is here, we're sure that Arctic Trucks can't wait to get its hands on it.

Although based on the outgoing F-150 Lariat trim which makes use of a standard 2.7-liter turbodiesel engine, in the video above by Emile Grimsson (Chairman of Arctic Trucks) we can see a stock 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 sits under the hood. This motor generates 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, which is plentiful in the standard F-150, but the AT44 is no doubt carrying more weight than this.

The Lariat comes with features like leather upholstery and dual-zone climate control, features that should be standard on the AT44. It also has blind-spot monitoring, although, based on its appearance alone, other drivers will likely keep their distance from this all-conquering truck.
