2019 Chevrolet Silverado Discounts Are Plentiful This Month

December 2, 2019 by Jay Traugott

Santa Claus could use a new rig.

The final month of the year is when automakers want their dealerships to work overtime and extra hard. It's hard to say whether or not December is the best month of the year to buy a new car, but automakers, in general, want to end the sales year on a high note. Take that for what it is. And one of the brands anxious to sell off its remaining 2019 model year inventory is Chevrolet. Turns out there are quite a significant number of unsold Silverado 1500 full-size pickup trucks and some new discounts should help move things along.

Chevrolet is currently advertising 20 percent below MSRP on the 2019 Silverado Double Cab LT All-Star Edition with the Z71 Off-Road Package. This translates to $9,755 below an MSRP of $48,775. The price reduction works as follows: $2,680 price reduction below MSRP plus $6,895 Cash Allowance.

Prefer these packages but with the Crew Cab configuration? No problem. Chevy is offering 19 percent below MSRP right now, which is $9,723 in savings, bringing the new discounted price down from $51,175 to $41,452. Prefer to lease instead of buying? You can pay as little as $179 a month for 24 months on a new Silverado 1500 Crew Cab 4WD Custom powered by the 4.3-liter EcoTec V6. You will still need to write a check for $7,646 due at signing unless you're currently leasing a 2014 model year or newer GM vehicle, in which case the deal requires $2,129 due at signing.

There are a few other 2019 Silverado end of year closeout deals being advertised on the official Chevrolet website, but we picked out the most attractive ones. It's also possible these offers will change throughout the month. One reason why is because the currently advertised offers are the same from last week's Black Friday sales event. It's also important to note these offers are about the same as what Chevy offered customers last October, with one exception: you don't have to finance through GM Finacial.
